Witnesses say argument led to fatal shooting in Kansas City

A man in his 30s was fatally shot during an argument around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday in the 6000 block of Blue Hills Road.

Kansas City police found the victim in an apartment complex parking lot. He died at a hospital.

Witnesses told police that the victim had been arguing with another man when the man pulled out a gun and shot the victim.

Anyone with information about the homicide is asked to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.

The death is the 40th homicide in Kansas City this year and the 64th homicide in the metropolitan area.
