KCK police identify teen shot to death Saturday night

Police on Monday identified a man killed Saturday in Kansas City, Kan., as Stephon D. Egans, 18.

Someone shot the Kansas City, Kan., resident about 9:45 p.m. Saturday in the 2900 block of North Allis Street. He died later at a hospital, police said.

His death is the city’s 13th homicide and the metro area’s 60th homicide this year.
