A Jackson County jury has convicted one of two men accused in the Halloween 2014 shooting death of a 22-year-old man in south-central Kansas City.

Travone Shaw, 20, was found guilty Thursday of involuntary manslaughter, stealing and two counts of armed criminal action, according to Jackson County prosecutors.

Shaw and another man were accused of killing Dionte R. Greene, who was found shot in the 690 block of Bellefontaine in the driver’s seat of a running vehicle.

Shaw is scheduled for sentencing June 29. He had originally been charged with second-degree murder and robbery.

The other man charged in the case, Antonio Golston, 22, is scheduled for trial in June.
