Man’s body found under wrecked van in KCK

Kansas City, Kan. authorities are investigating the death of a man whose body was found underneath a wrecked van Tuesday morning.

Police officers who responded about 7:30 a.m. to the 7900 block of State Avenue found a brown Ford van apparently had crashed into the side of a building. Investigators called for a tow truck. They discovered the body underneath the van while it was being removed.

Police planned to confirm his identity and notify relatives before releasing his name.
