Overland Park homicide victim identified

Overland Park authorities have identified a person found dead Sunday in his home as Chidozie “Joe” Ojiaka, 51.

Police were called about 3 p.m. Sunday to the residence in the 7900 block of West 75th Street. They announced Monday that the death was a homicide.

Investigators continue to look into the killing. Anyone with information is asked to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (474-8477).
