Baldwin City massage therapist charged with assaulting 5 women during sessions
A former Baldwin City massage therapist is facing several rape charges in Douglas County after investigators alleged he had sexually assaulted five of his clients since 2024.
Aaron Borger, 44, was arrested by the Baldwin City Police Department on Wednesday after investigators learned about an “incident” that occurred during a massage session at Om Grown Yoga & Wellness Collective last week, Mike Pattrick, the department’s chief of police, previously said.
In a news release Friday, the Douglas County District Attorney’s Office announced it had charged the Hartford, Kansas, man with two counts of rape, two counts of aggravated sexual battery and three counts of sexual battery.
Prosecutors allege that between March 2024 and April 2026, Borger sexually assaulted five women while performing massage services at the yoga studio.
Borger, who worked part-time at the yoga studio, is no longer associated with the business, Om Grown Yoga & Wellness Collective said in a social media post Wednesday.
“While these legal proceedings are ongoing, we want to be very clear: the safety, sanctity, and trust of our students and clients are our highest priorities,” the post said. “We have zero tolerance for any behavior that compromises the safety or dignity of those in our care.”
Pattrick said Borger also works as a part-time massage therapist at a chiropractor’s office in Grandview. Investigators did not mention the business by name.
The Douglas County District Attorney’s Office asks anyone who might have had contact with Borger, “whether in Baldwin City or elsewhere,” to contact Detective Vanessa Garza at 785-594-3850 or by email at vschmalz@baldwincity.gov.
Borger is being held in the Douglas County Jail on a $500,000 bond, according to the facility’s inmate listing.
He is set to appear in Douglas County court for a status conference on April 15, according to court records.
