Man dies at hospital after shooting near shopping center in Kansas City, Kansas
One man died after he was shot at an apartment near a shopping center in Kansas City, Kansas, Monday night, police said.
Officers responded around 8:34 p.m. to a hospital on a reported shooting. Upon arrival, they found a man who was taken to the hospital with a life-threatening gunshot wound, according to a news release.
The man was pronounced dead at the hospital, police said.
Police have not yet publicly identified the man who died.
Detectives were speaking with people who were at the hospital. Police later determined the shooting happened in the 1200 block of North 77th Street.
No suspects have been identified, and no information was immediately available about what led to the shooting.
