One person was critically injured after a vehicle hit several motorcycles and fled Saturday night in Kansas City.

Officers responded around 7:35 p.m. to the area of 31st Street and Indiana Avenue after an unknown vehicle struck three Harley Davidson drivers who had stopped for a red light, according to Officer Alayna Gonzalez, a spokesperson for the Kansas City Police Department.

The other vehicle fled the scene without stopping.

One of the motorcyclists was ejected onto the pavement, and a passenger was taken to a hospital with critical injuries. The other drivers and passengers were either treated for minor injuries or didn’t report injuries from the crash.

Police are investigating the crash.
