Multiple people were shot and injured Saturday night outside the T-Mobile Center in downtown Kansas City, according to police.

The shooting was reported about 9 p.m. outside the event venue at 13th and McGee streets, according to Capt. Corey Carlisle, a spokesman for the Kansas City Police Department.

It was unclear Saturday night how many people were hurt, but Carlisle said “several” people suffered injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.

The T-Mobile Center, where a WWE Supershow wrestling event was ongoing, was placed on lockdown after the shooting.

The lockdown had been lifted as of 10:35 p.m., Carlisle said, after the shooting scene was secured by police.

The Cornucopia fall festival at the nearby Power & Light District was scheduled to end for the day at 9 p.m.
