Man has life-threatening injuries after officers found him shot in KCK alley

A man has life-threatening injuries after he was shot and found in an alley Monday night in Kansas City, Kansas, according to police.

Officers responded around 9:20 p.m. to the 500 block of Elizabeth Avenue, where they found a man with apparent gunshot wounds lying in an alley, said Nancy Chartrand, a spokeswoman for the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department.

The man was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
