Olathe police investigate after man is shot and injured amid disturbance with family

A 26-year-old man was injured following a shooting amid a family disturbance Sunday night in Olathe, according to police.

Officers responded just before 6 p.m. to an armed disturbance among family members in the 800 block of South Windsor Road, police said in a news release.

The 26-year-old man had a single gunshot wound and was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

Police are in contact with all parties involved in the shooting.
