Double shooting under investigation at QuikTrip convenience store in south Kansas City
Two people were seriously injured in a double shooting Monday afternoon in south Kansas City, a police spokeswoman said.
Officers responding to the QuikTrip at East 87th Street and Hillcrest Road, just east of Interstate 435, found the victims at the convenience store, said Officer Donna Drake, a spokeswoman for the Kansas City Police Department.
Further details of the shooting, including suspect information, were not immediately available.
