Johnson County inmate who escaped from Olathe hospital ‘apprehended without incident’

Authorities have captured a 27-year-old inmate who escaped early Monday from the Olathe Medical Center, the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office said on Twitter.

Elijah Nathaniel Naves has been “apprehended without incident,” the sheriff’s office announced shortly after 11 a.m.

Before being captured, Naves was last seen about 4:30 a.m. wearing a green hospital gown with blue-and-white-striped jail issue pants. He was headed south of the hospital at 20333 W. 151st St.

Naves was being held on aggravated robbery charges, the sheriff’s office said.
