Kansas City police ask for help identifying suspect in armed robbery of business

Kansas City police are asking for help finding a suspect in an armed robbery of a business last week.

On Aug. 13 just before 11 a.m., the suspect went to a business in the 5900 block of Prospect Avenue armed with a gun. He stole money from the business, police said.

Police said the suspect is around 26 to 28 years old, 5-foot-8, with facial hair. He was wearing a black tank top, blue jeans and a “Mexico” hat.
