73-year-old Independence woman reported missing since Thursday, family says

Independence Police said a 73-year-old woman has been reported missing after leaving her home for a doctor’s appointment last week.

Police are asking for help in the search for Rachel Gillmore, who is 4-foot-8, weighs 115 pounds and has gray hair and brown eyes.

Her family reported Gillmore missing. She was believed to have left her home in the 12400 block of East 46th Street on Aug. 13 for a doctor’s appointment.

She hasn’t been seen since.

She was driving a 2018 Silver Kia Rio. The car has taped front end damage on the driver’s side with a Missouri license plate: JB2A2A.
