Police identify Kansas City man, 19, killed in Raytown shooting Monday night
Police on Wednesday identified a Kansas City man killed in a shooting earlier this week in Raytown.
Lucas Jester, 19, was found dead inside a vehicle about 9:20 p.m. Monday when officers responded to reports of gunshots in the area of the 8400 block of Lane Drive, according to the Raytown Police Department.
Jester appeared to have been shot, police said.
No arrests have been announced. Detectives continued to investigate the homicide.

Jester’s death marked the third killing this year in Raytown, according to data maintained by The Star, which includes police shootings. By this time last year, there had been six homicides.
