Woman shot near KC hospital Tuesday evening, police say suspect was found with her dog
A woman was in critical condition after she was shot while out with her dog near a hospital Tuesday night, Kansas City police said.
Police responded just after 6:30 p.m. Tuesday to Meyer Boulevard and Prospect Avenue where they found the woman near the helicopter pad of Research Medical Center, according to the Kansas City Police Department.
Officers were given a description of the suspect, who they found later with the woman’s dog near Olive and East 68th streets.
