One dead after Kansas City, Kansas, shooting stemming from domestic incident

A man in his 20s is dead following a shooting Friday afternoon in the 2100 block of North 29th Street in Kansas City, Kansas, police said.

The Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department responded to the shooting around 12:49 p.m. and found the man inside a residence. The shooting, a police spokeswoman said, appeared to stem from a domestic incident. No other details were released.

Police did not immediately release the name of the victim pending notification of relatives. It is the city’s 13th homicide this year, police said.
