961 crimes were reported in Kansas City in one week. How many were in your area?

More than 960 crimes were reported last week in Kansas City, a slight drop from the previous week, according to a Kansas City Star crime map created with city data.

Among them were 155 cases of domestic assault and two rapes from March 29 to April 4.

Kansas City police also responded to 125 assaults, 47 residential burglaries and 61 reports of stolen vehicles.

There were 1,005 crimes reported the previous week starting March 22.
