More than 1,100 crimes were reported in Kansas City the third week of February, according to a Kansas City Star crime map created with city data.

Among them were 75 stolen autos, 45 residential burglaries and 22 armed street robberies between Feb. 16 and 22.

Ninety-four shoplifting, 46 trespassing, 43 aggravated assaults and 8 forgeries were among the 1,135 crimes recorded in the data.

The map displays the locations of offenses with multi-colored dots and is searchable by street address.

Clicking a dot reveals information about the crime. The map includes filters for different types of crime, and selecting a filter allows users to see only the occurrences of that crime.
