More than 1,000 crimes were reported in Kansas City in the second week of February, according to a Kansas City Star crime map created with data the city released.

Among them were 63 aggravated assaults, 73 auto thefts, and 25 residential burglaries between Feb. 9 and Feb. 15.

Fifteen armed street robberies, 20 commercial burglaries and seven arson cases were among the 1,021 crimes recorded in the data.

The map displays the locations of offenses with multi-colored dots and is searchable by street address.

Clicking a dot reveals information about the crime. The map includes filters for different types of crime, and selecting a filter allows users to see only the occurrences of that crime.
