One person shot, two arrested Saturday along U.S. 24 in Independence

One person was injured and two people were arrested after a shooting Saturday in Independence, according to police.

The shooting was reported about 4:06 p.m. in the 11500 block of U.S. 24, according to the Independence Police Department.

Officers found one person with a gunshot wound. The person was taken to a hospital.

Two other people were taken into custody for questioning.
