The man shot and killed in a double shooting Saturday at a Raytown gas station was 24-year-old Marlin D. Williams of Kansas City.

Police responding to reports of shots being fired about 7:10 p.m. found the injured Williams and another man with gunshot wounds in a lot in the 5200 block of Blue Ridge Cutoff. They were rushed to a hospital, where Williams was pronounced dead, according to police.

The extent of the injuries of the other man was not available, but he was in stable condition at the hospital.

The killing was the first homicide recorded in Raytown this year.

No arrests have been made, and police continue to investigate the double shooting.
