Leawood bank robbed Tuesday

Someone robbed a bank on the Leawood side of State Line Road on Tuesday morning.

The hold-up was reported just before 11 a.m. Tuesday at the CoreFirst Bank Trust, 12220 State Line Road.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect was described as a slender, clean-shaven white man who was 5 feet, 10 inches to 6 feet tall and appeared to be in his middle 40s.

He wore a dark-colored shirt, blue jeans and a dark ball cap with a beanie-style hat underneath it.

The suspect last was seen heading west through the bank parking lot.
