Reward increased in 2010 KCK homicide
The reward for information about the 2010 killing of a man in Kansas City, Kan., has been increased to $12,500.
Someone shot John Valdivia, 26, to death on Feb. 14, 2010, in the 1700 block of Richmond Avenue.
Valdivia’s mother recently added $2,500 to the existing reward of $10,000 for information leading to an arrest in the killing.
A taco dinner also is scheduled to raise additional money for the fund. The dinner is planned for noon to 6 p.m. on Feb. 8 at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 1310 Westport Road.
