Kansas City police seeks public’s help in locating 17-year-old last seen in May

The Kansas City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a 17-year-old girl who has been reported missing since May.

Elana Gonzalez was last seen May 11 around 8:30 p.m. near the 11000 block of Corrington Ave. Gonzalez has several conditions that have led her family to be “highly concerned for her safety and well-being,” according to the police.

Gonzalez is five feet and one inch tall, and she has black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants and black crocs, according to the police.

The police have asked that if someone locates Gonzalez, they call 911 or contact the Kansas City Police Department Missing Persons Unit at (816) 234-5043.
