Courtside chairs Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce sat in at Cavs-Knicks game up for auction
Even by Swiftie standards, this auction is kinda cheeky.
The courtside seats that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce sat in during Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and New York Knicks are up for auction. The game was played May 23 at Rocket Arena in Cleveland.
Neither is named as the occupiers of said chairs on The Realest website. But here is the description of one of chairs.
“As one of the most recognized and influential artists of her generation, the occupant of this chair has earned worldwide acclaim through a career defined by commercial success, critical recognition, and multiple Grammy Award victories,” it says.
“Her attendance reflects the cultural reach of the NBA Playoffs and the significance of the Eastern Conference Finals as one of the most visible events in sports.”
And here’s how the other chair is described: “Courtside chair used by a Kansas City Super Bowl champion and Cleveland Heights native during Eastern Conference Finals Game 3 at Rocket Arena.”
Bidding on Swift’s chair began Friday with a $100 bid, according to ESPN. As of mid-morning Monday, the highest bid was $6,000.
Bidding on both is scheduled to end at 7 p.m. Sunday, according to the listing.
“Will the auction also include the nacho crumbs she left behind?” one fan wondered on X.
“And you can have Kelce’s seat for 2 hot dogs, a Coke and nachos,” another X user joked.
Nope, not as of Monday morning, when the highest bid on his chair was $525.
Anyone still need a wedding gift for them?
