A new QuikTrip convenience store is being built in Olathe at S. Mur-Len Road and 135th Street, according to city planning records.

The new gas station will replace what was a bank.

The QuikTrip and new businesses are a part of a roughly $26 million effort by the city to revive the once vacant shopping center.

The 6,445 square foot QuikTrip will have 10 gas pumps and will be south of the shopping center that now has a Crunch fitness and a new Taco eatery, TNT’s, which opened earlier this year, according to Olathe Planning Commission records.

The new location is less than a mile from another QuikTrip, located at 15650 W 135th St.

The project was originally proposed by QuikTrip Corporation Representative Tara Limbach at an Olathe Planning Commission meeting on June 9, 2025.
