Looking for a new job? You might consider these 14 highly rated employers in the Kansas City area.

Forbes released their lists of the best large and midsize employers for 2026 on Feb. 10. For the last 11 years, the financial publication has ranked employers using a nationwide survey. This year, the survey received more than 217,000 responses. Respondents were asked if they would recommend their employer to others, and to rate it on salary, work environment, benefits and opportunities to advance.

A total of 1,200 companies were ranked: 700 on the large employers list and 500 on the midsize businesses list.
