Well look at that. It’s been nearly six year since we’ve seen Eric Stonestreet as a sitcom regular, and now he’s gone and found himself a new family in a happy place — with country star Reba McEntire.

The former “Modern Family” star and one of Kansas City’s most beloved celebrity denizens will guest star on McEntire’s NBC comedy series, “Happy’s Place,” when it resumes its second season Jan. 16.

Former “Glee” star Jane Lynch will appear in the same episode.

McEntire announced Stonestreet’s appearance on her Instagram Thursday with a reel showing them horsing around behind the scenes.

“One solo shot is all he gets ... welcome to #HappysPlace, @ericstonestreet!” McEntire wrote.

“Loved every second with this cast and crew!!!!” Stonestreet replied.

“Happy’s Place” began its second season in November. It follows McEntire’s character, Bobbie, as she inherits her father’s bar in Tennessee, only to discover she has a long-lost younger sister who becomes her business partner.

The show is not an extension of McEntire’s popular sitcom, “Reba,” which ran for six seasons on The WB network before ending on The CW Network in 2007.

But it does reunite the country singer with one of her “Reba” co-stars, Melissa Peterman, who plays Bobbie’s bartender gal pal, Gabby.

The show also stars McEntire’s real-life fiance, actor Rex Linn, who plays the bar’s cook and Bobbie’s (new) boyfriend.

According to Variety, Stonestreet will play Dr. Russell Peabody III, an unconventional therapist who tries to help Bobbie and her sister Isabella (Belissa Escobedo) resolve their differences.

Lynch will play Peterman’s mother, Valerie, who visits Knoxville for the first time with a surprising secret, Variety reported.

Comedy TV is where Stonestreet became a household name, playing Cameron Tucker on ABC’s “Modern Family” for 11 years for which he won two Emmys. The show ended in 2020 when Stonestreet, a KCK native and graduate of Kansas State University, moved home.

He had his own special “family” moment in September when he married his long-time partner — pediatric nurse and mother of two boys Lindsay Schweitzer —- at their newly built home in KCK.

He’s been ushered into this new TV family with open arms.

“Welcome to Happy’s Place!” NBC greeted him on McEntire’s Instagram post.

“And what a happy place it is!” Stonestreet replied.

“Welcome to the family,” Peterman wrote.

What we wouldn’t give to see Stonestreet back on TV every week. (Are you listening, NBC?)

“Happy’s Place” airs at 7 p.m. CST Fridays on NBC and the next day on Peacock.
