Verizon users in KC can get free World Cup tickets. Here’s how to sign up

Verizon users in the Kansas City area have another chance to secure 2026 FIFA World Cup tickets — for free.

The third wave of Verizon’s Ultimate Access ticket drop runs from Jan. 7 to 11, giving hundreds of customers the opportunity to watch one of the games without paying the prices listed on FIFA’s website or resale prices.

“The highlight of the drop is the chance to see the reigning world champions in Argentina vs. Algeria (M19) at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, along with a clash of styles in Tunisia vs. Netherlands (M58),” Verizon said in a press release.

Verizon customers will also have the chance to get tickets to Ecuador vs. Curaçao (M34) and Algeria vs. Austria (M69). A representative with Verizon said they will have more drops with additional tickets later.

Tickets for Kansas City’s group stage games are available at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, on the My Verizon app via Verizon Access, the wireless carrier company’s loyalty program. It’s only accessible for Verizon customers.

Users whose cell service provider is Verizon will only need to visit myAccess when they sign in to an eligible My Verizon account to sign up to win tickets.

If you’re interested in going to group stage matches in different parts of the country, Verizon will drop free tickets 2 p.m. daily between Jan. 7 and 11. Thursday Jan. 8’s drop includes matches at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts, and Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, while Friday Jan. 9’s free ticket drop includes matches at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia and Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
