If you run out of rolls or hot chocolate for Christmas, you might need to make a run to a Kansas City-area grocery store. But are any open on late on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?

Be sure to get your food shopping done before Thursday, because there will be only one grocery store chain open Christmas Day.

Enjoy the possibly record-setting warmth this Christmas and pick up a snack on your way to a restaurant’s holiday meal or the Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium at 7:15 p.m.

Various grocery stores will be open Dec. 24 and Dec. 25 on both the Missouri and Kansas sides, including Overland Park, Olathe, Independence, Lee’s Summit, Blue Springs and Lenexa.
