A missing 45-year-old woman who disappeared early Sunday has been found dead in Lenexa, a police spokesman said.

Amber J. Foster was found dead Monday morning in the 17800 block of West 86th Street, said Master Police Officer Danny Chavez with the Lenexa Police Department.

Foster was last seen at about 5:55 a.m. Sunday near West 87th Street Parkway and Winchester Street, which is less than a mile away from where her body was found.

Her vehicle was found in a nearby parking garage, and she was last seen walking west toward the Canyon Farms Golf Course at 17501 W. 87th Street Parkway. Police released a photo of her walking in the street early Sunday, her last known sighting.

The investigation into her disappearance and death is ongoing, Chavez said. There were no obvious signs of foul play.
