Overland Park police seek the public’s help in locating truck involved in crash

The Overland Park Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a vehicle that was involved in a hit-and-run crash on Dec. 2.

Police are looking for a newer model pickup truck that is either white or silver. The vehicle had an unknown license plate was traveling west on West 79th Street at Foster Street around 9:45 p.m., according to John Lacy, public information officer with the Overland Park Police Department.

The driver in the vehicle then began to drive recklessly and struck a light pole before driving north on Foster street, according to Lacy.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect vehicle or the crash is asked to contact police at 913-890-1437.
