CVS employee identified as victim killed in North Kansas City pharmacy shooting
North Kansas City authorities have identified a male CVS employee as the victim killed in a North Kansas City shooting Thursday at the one of the health retailer’s pharmacy locations .
The employee, Rusty A. Donovan, 42, was killed in a shooting that occurred at the CVS location at 1914 Swift Street.Officers responded to the shooting at approximately 3 p.m., according to Deputy City Administrator Kim Nakahodo.
A suspect was taken into custody at the scene, but has not been publicly identified.
The investigation remains active, Nakahodo said.
