Overland Park man who went missing found safe hours later, police say

A man who went missing from Overland Park Saturday morning has been found safe, police said.

The 55-year-old man went missing after he was last seen around 5:30 a.m. Saturday near 119th Street and Quivira Road, according to a news release.

In a news release just before 11 a.m., a spokesperson with the Overland Park Police Department said the man was found safe.

“He is currently with family members in good health,” Officer John Lacy said in an email.
