NFL mom Randi Mahomes launches, models own collection of KC Chiefs gear for women
Randi Mahomes popped the cork on a champagne bottle to Taylor Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia” Thursday to launch her new eight-piece collection of women’s Chiefs gear.
The mother of Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes slyly wore one of the sweatshirts to the Chiefs-Lions game Sunday in a photo with daughter, Mia, and daughter-in-law Brittany Mahomes.
The micro-collection was “created for every game day style and every woman who wants to look chic and feel confident,” the NFL mom from Texas wrote on Instagram. “This collab has been an absolute dream in the making and I’m so happy to share it with ya’ll!”
Mahomes partnered with SOHO X Gameday Couture, a collaboration between online boutique Social House Boutique (SOHO) and Gameday Coture, a female-owned brand of trendy, officially licensed women’s fan apparel.
Gameday is promoting Mahomes’ pieces, available with logos of all 32 NFL teams, as “designed hand-in-hand with the matriarch of the league’s most celebrated family.”
The collection at shopthesoho.com reflects Mahomes’ laid-back, rather-be-in-boots-than-heels personal style. She usually wears jeans and something with a Chiefs logo to games. She models the collection on the website.
In a video teasing Thursday’s announcement she modeled an oversized jersey with cutoff jean shorts and tall white boots.
But Mahomes truly loves her bling and it shows.
The pieces range in price from a $44 classic short-sleeved T-shirt studded with rhinestones to a $119 puffer vest, also blinged out, with a stand-up collar and a hidden-snap front closure.
Sure to be a favorite is the $95 End Zone Energy Micro Rhinestone Denim Overshirt — a roomy, comfy pinstripe shirt with the Chiefs’ logo on the back.
Did they consider Rhinestone Cowgirl for a name?
One sweatshirt has a Chiefs logo on the front and large, rhinestone-studded stars lined up down the sleeves ($59.99).
Is it just us or do they low-key look like Dallas Cowboys stars?
