Tickets for Chappell Roan’s KC shows go on sale. How much do they cost?

Highly sought after tickets for pop superstar Chappell Roan’s eight concerts in the United States went on sale Wednesday, Aug. 6. Some fans found the coveted link to purchase them in their inboxes, while others are holding out hope for more links to send Thursday.

Roan used a ticketing process called Fair AXS to make sure tickets end up in the hands of fans. Random registered users received a private ticket purchase link via email.

Tickets were sold on a first-come, first-served basis to fans who received a link. They can purchase up to four tickets.

“An invitation email does not guarantee access to tickets, but an opportunity to purchase them based on availability,” AXS says. “These shows are in high demand and may sell out quickly.”

Some ticket purchasers to Roan’s shows Friday, Oct. 3, and Saturday, Oct. 4, at Museum and Memorial Park in Kansas City, near the National World War I Museum and Memorial, immediately took to resale sites to cash in on the hot ticket.

Ticket queues opened for her series of concerts coming to Kansas City; New York; and Pasadena, California, in the fall. People who received links to her Kansas City were met with two prices: $129 for general admission and $277 for VIP admission.

Tickets were found for sale on resale sites like SeatGeek and StubHub after the links were sent. Here’s how much general admission tickets for Roan’s Kansas City shows are being sold for on these third-party websites. If you do purchase from a resale website, be careful of scams.

SeatGeek:

  • Oct. 3: $360 for general admission, $790 for VIP admission
  • Oct. 4: $432 for general admission, $717 for VIP admission

StubHub:

  • Oct. 4: $535 for general admission, $878 for VIP admission

More emails with links to purchase are set to be sent Aug. 7, so fans can still hold out for hope to buy tickets for retail price.
