Search for at-risk missing KC area man continues, mobility issues raise concerns

The Kansas City Police Department is searching for a missing and endangered man last seen nearly two weeks ago.

59-year-old William Keys of Independence was last seen around noon on Friday, July 26, near 45th Street and Park Avenue. He was wearing a red flannel shirt and blue jeans at the time of his disappearance, police said.

He relies on a walker and a wheelchair for mobility, raising concerns for his safety.

According to KCPD, this is an ongoing investigation and police are urging the public for their help with locating Keys.

Anyone who sees Keys or knows of his whereabouts should call 911 or contact the KCPD Missing Persons Unit at 816-234-5043.
