A Kansas woman was sentenced to 220 months in prison for selling a woman drugs that contributed to her overdose death in 2024, according to Kansas court documents.

Beulah Beatrice Quiroz, was sentenced in Johnson County court Monday after pleading guilty in April to one count of distribution causing death.

Quiroz was convicted of selling narcotics to Dori Cunagin, 46, on Feb. 6, 2024 in Overland Park, according to court documents.

Quiroz was arrested on Jan. 30, 2025, according to court documents. She was initially also charged with use of a communication facility during a drug felony.
