Kansas City’s most successful hip-hop artist Tech N9ne has starred in a lot of music videos since his career began over 30 years ago. He’s filmed in all parts of Kansas City, including at a home with a $1 million custom-built pool.

The home and pool, featured in the music video for Tech N9ne’s song “Pull Out,” is located at 33901 E. Colbern Road in Lone Jack, Missouri, 37 minutes southeast of Kansas City. It’s now for sale by Reece Nichols Real Estate for $3 million.

The home was owned by Travis O’Guin, who co-founded local record label Strange Music with Tech N9ne. O’Guin later sold the home to the current seller, who added the pool in 2022, according to Reece Nichols communications specialist John Kurtz. The house was listed for sale April 25.

The in-ground pool is one part of the home’s expansive backyard. Surrounding the pool is a waterfall, a splash pad, a hot tub and an outdoor kitchen. The pool house is also heated and has its own laundry room, making this a destination for pool parties.

“This estate leaves no detail overlooked, whether you’re hosting lavish events or enjoying quiet moments at home,” the listing says. “This property offers a lifestyle of pure luxury and exclusivity.”

A playground and a gazebo sit on the property’s backyard, along with access to a pond just a few feet away from the house.

The inside of the house, which sits on 10 acres of gated land, was designed with both luxury and lifestyle in mind, according to the description. There are three floors inside the home, and each floor has a full-size laundry room, and each of the seven bedrooms has its own en-suite bathroom.

The primary suite takes over an entire wing of the home and can act as a private retreat. The suite comes with a sitting room and office space, a walk-in closet, an en-suite laundry room, a kitchenette, bar and a wide view of the estate.

So does the balcony, and underneath a section of the balcony sits a lounging area with a firepit and a small waterfall. Large windows in each room allow natural light to fill the home.

Inside the home’s three floors is a dedicated party room and an exterior dog room with heat and water access. Other amenities include a whole house generator, water purification system, three fireplaces and a 12-car garage with dedicated HVAC heating and cooling and stainless steel storage. A basketball hoop with a half-court is spotted near the garage.
