Three children and a woman were hospitalized after a rollover crash in Lenexa Tuesday night.

Troopers responded just before 11 p.m. to K-10 Highway just east of Renner Boulevard. According to a crash report, a 2004 Ford Explorer drove west on K-10 when the driver, a 32-year-old woman, lost control of the vehicle.

The Ford Explorer drove off the left side of the road and rolled into a ditch, coming to rest on its top, according to the crash report.

Paramedics transported a 10-year-old boy and an 8-year-old girl to Children’s Mercy Hospital with serious injuries. A 4-year-old boy was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The children were not wearing seat belts or safety restraints, according to the crash report.

The woman was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

Investigators are working to determine what led up to the crash.
