One Missouri man reached a longtime dream after he won big playing the Missouri Lottery.

A new car is his after he bought a “Show Me Cash” lottery ticket at HyVee, 301 NE Rice Road in Lee’s Summit.

“I got a new car, and every morning I wake up and I look out into the garage to make sure I wasn’t dreaming,” he said to the Missouri Lottery.

The winner said he was motivated to pick up a Show Me Cash ticket for the Friday, April 4, drawing after trying out the game during a lottery promotion. He later learned his choice won him the jackpot prize worth $111,000, more than enough to buy the car of his dreams.

The winning numbers that won him the $110,000 prize were 4, 14, 31, 34 and 37.

“I usually play Lotto, but I had got a Show Me Cash ticket during the St. Patrick’s Day promotion,” the winner said. “I kinda liked that game, so I thought I’d give it a try.”

Show Me Cash is an in-state game that costs $1 per play, with an option to add an EZ Match for an additional $1 per play. Jackpots start at $50,000 for this game and keep growing until someone wins.
