Maggie Witt has teamed up with Fit Brit, a Kansas City luxury women’s athleisure brand, to create a women’s workout apparel collection that launches Sunday.

To celebrate, Witt will throw out the first pitch at the Royals-Colorado Rockies game at Kauffman Stadium on Thursday, April 24, the Royals told The Star on Tuesday.

Witt, a personal trainer and fitness and lifestyle influencer, is married to Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. She teased the new MW Collection on her social media with photos of herself wearing the gear.

“This highly anticipated drop fuses Fit Brit’s signature luxury-in-motion aesthetic with Maggie’s performance-driven lifestyle,” the company said in a statement Tuesday.

“The result? A curated collection that is both fashion-forward and functional. Think sculpted rompers, sleek bodysuits, breathable layers, and versatile layering pieces — each designed to move with intention and make a statement.”

Maggie Witt called the collaboration with Fit Brit a “full circle moment.” The company was founded by Brittany Carrier, who also serves as its creative director.

“A year ago this all started as a conversation in a basement and now it’s becoming a reality,” Witt wrote on Instagram. “I have teamed up with @fitbritus to create an athletic, lifestyle apparel that embodies me and my everyday life!!

“The MW collection was made to make every woman feel confident, comfortable and strong. I can’t wait for all of YOU to be able to enjoy this collection as much as we do!!

Carrier is a University of Kansas graduate whose work in sports and fitness management has included personal training, owning a gym and working in the pageant world, according to her LinkedIn page.

Fit Brit promotes itself as a luxury athleisure company. Customers can shop for $82 high-waisted leggings, $58 biker shorts and sports bras and tops ranging from $37 to $69.

“We didn’t just create activewear — we created power pieces,” Carrier said in the announcement. “This collection is more than just activewear — it’s about empowering women to move with confidence, lead with style, and own every part of who they are.

“Maggie brought that same bold energy to each design. Every piece feels authentic, versatile, and made to move with you — and we can’t wait for you to experience it.”

The collaboration seems a perfect fit for Witt, who married her high school sweetheart last year in a ceremony in Dallas attended by many of Witt’s teammates, some of whom were his groomsmen.

She graduated in May 2022 with a bachelor degree in health and science from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana.

As a social media influencer, Witt has touted Fabletics active wear and currently promotes 1st Phorm, a lifestyle brand of supplements and apparel.

She has become one of the most high profile and prolific of the Royals family members on social media, sharing behind-the-scenes looks at life away from the ballpark. Witt also shares videos of her grueling workout routines.

She joins a growing list of influencers and celebrities who have created and inspired athleisure lines. Stella McCartney with Adidas. Victoria Beckham and Gigi Hadid with Reebok.

Ivy Park by Beyoncé.

“From Selena Gomez’s collaboration with Puma to Alexander Wang’s stylish release with Adidas Originals and multi-hyphenate Virgil Abloh’s endless collections with Nike, it seems that celebrities and designers alike have been pursuing fitness ranges to call their own,” notes The Editorialist, which covers luxury fashion.

Witt isn’t the only athletic Kansas City WAG who has inspired a workout collection.

In 2022, Brittany Mahomes, co-owner of the KC Current and wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, helped create a capsule collection with Vitality athleisure company named after her daughter, Skye.

The pieces Witt has revealed thus far were in Royals colors of dark blue and powder blue, suggesting an homage to her husband’s employer. She calls herself a Royals “superfan.”

The MW Collection debuts Sunday at FitBrit.com.

She might not have an MLB contract, but throwing a ball on the field at The K shouldn’t be much of a stretch for this member of the Witt family.

She played softball in high school and college.
