The electronic billboard, shining out in Chiefs red just up the road from Arrowhead Stadium, invites curious onlookers to place a call.

816-323-GO KC.

“Call for a pep rally in your pocket,” the billboard says.

Those who call the number get a surprising earful of “Fly, Eagles, Fly,” the Philadelphia Eagles fight song.

“E-A-G-L-E-S! EAGLES!,” a chorus of voices yells out at the end of the song.

A Philadelphia advertising agency has claimed responsibility for the friendly jab in the lead-up to Super Bowl LIX, which features the Kansas City Chiefs facing off against the Philadelphia Eagles.

“Get burned by our board? It’s all in good fun,” the website of the firm Aloysius Butler & Clark says.

The message began scrolling Tuesday on one of the billboards stationed near Interstate 435’s Raytown Road interchange and the Truman Sports Complex.

The group said it would make donations to the Eagles Autism Foundation and the Hunt Family Foundation up to $5,000 based on the number of calls the phone line receives in the lead-up to the Super Bowl on Sunday.

“AB&C is incredibly proud to be a part of the Philadelphia community and grateful for the opportunities it’s given us as a business,” Colleen Masters, the agency’s executive creative director, said in a news release about the billboard.

“To honor this pride, we wanted to give back to two great charities in a meaningful but uniquely Philly way.

“Like any proud part of the Philadelphia community, we take our sports seriously. With the Eagles in the big game, this seemed like a great chance to take our team spirit well beyond our borders. We did this for every loyal Eagles fan out there — and even more importantly, for the communities of both teams.”
