‘Well done team!!!’ Henry Winkler, Melissa Etheridge lead cheers by celebrity Chiefs fans

Celebrity fans of the Kansas City Chiefs toasted Andy Reid and company after the team won the AFC Championship Sunday and a trip to a third consecutive Super Bowl.

Singer Melissa Etheridge, a lifelong Chiefs fan who grew up in Leavenworth, Kansas, laughed and raised her hands in celebration in a video she posted to Instagram.

“Go Chiefs!” she said. “Oh my god, everyone’s so mad we’re going to the Super Bowl again.

“Poor Bills. Man I love football. How great was that? Andy Reid is a brilliant coach.”

Henry Winkler, a Patrick Mahomes superfan, began the day by retweeting a game-day post on X from the Chiefs and adding: “The Day IS YOURS Men.”

After the game, Winkler wrote: “@Chiefs AND HERE WE GOOOOOOO ! Well done team!!!”

On Saturday, Kansas City native and passionate Chiefs fan Heidi Gardner paid tribute to the team in a gesture that’s become tradition for her.

The “Saturday Night Live” star wore a No. 87 Travis Kelce jersey in the closing seconds of the show as the cast said goodnight with host Timothee Chalamet.

On Sunday, Gardner posted videos of Patrick Mahomes and Chiefs coach Andy Reid arriving at GEHA Field at Arrowhead, marking both with heart emojis.

Actor Tyler Hynes broke a self-imposed break from social media to celebrate the team and wish the Chiefs luck.

Hynes co-starred in the Hallmark Channel movie, “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story” last year and became a popular new member of Chiefs Kingdom during filming in Kansas City.

“Every year may or may not be like this past year,” he wrote on Instagram Sunday. “But if it is, that’s just fine by me. Thanks for making this ride what it is. Here’s to more. Here’s to you. Happy to be back :)

“The silence has been golden, but forever grateful for the noise ... ) Good luck tonight @chiefs
