Another winning coat: Taylor Swift wears Louis Vuitton in last Chiefs home game of season

For her last runway walk into GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium for the season, Taylor Swift left her red Chiefs gear at home, instead opting to wear the prestigious LV logo of Louis Vuitton.

It was another winning coat look.

Swift, who is dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, has now attended six Chiefs postseason games since last year. The Chiefs have won every one of those games, which is why some fans now consider her a good luck charm.

According to Sarah Chapelle’s Taylor Swift Styled, Swift wore the Louis Vuitton Monogram Jacquard Knit Jacket ($5,000)

She wore the coat over a black miniskirt, red tights and black boots. She amped up the LV logo look with an LV Spark Beanie ($550) and a Trunk Chain Wallet ($2,850).

“Prior to the game I had wondered if last year’s championship outfit might be a playbook for today’s look which I can see in the oversized cozy top, tights, and black skirt,” Chapelle wrote.

At last year’s AFC Championship Game against the Ravens in Baltimore, Swift wore a red, oversized cashmere sweater from gal-pal Gigi Hadid’s Guest in Residence collection.

After the Chiefs won, Hadid posted a photo of Swift and Kelce on Instagram suggesting that the Cozy Crew sweater ($695) had special powers.

“It’s lookin like a lucky sweater!!” Hadid wrote. “T in her @guestinresidence last night Congrats TK & Chiefs nation!!”

Swift accessorized the understated look with jewelry full of sentiment and meaning, including a WEAR by Erin Andrews x BaubleBar necklace with the Chiefs logo on it.

But it was the ring shaped like Kelce’s red, No. 87 jersey — designed by Kansas City’s Emily Bordner — that grabbed the most attention.

Several of the coats Swift has worn to Chiefs games have gone viral.

Last season she inspired thousands of Google searches for “red coat” and “red teddy” after she wore a long, red teddy coat to watch the Chiefs play the Green Bay Packers in chilly Wisconsin.

Then on Jan. 13, 2024, she showed up at Arrowhead for an AFC Wild Card game against the Miami Dolphins wrapped in a puffer jacket unlike anything most people had ever seen. It was red, oversized and had Kelce’s jersey number, 87, on the back.

The coat was custom, made from a deconstructed Kelce jersey by Kristin Juszczyk, wife of San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszcyzk and a budding fashion designer who saw her career take off like a rocket after Swift wore the jacket.

Last month Juszczyk launched the fashion brand “Off Season,” a collaboration with Fanatics, the NFL and British fashion designer Emma Grede.
