Missing 35-year-old Kansas City woman is found safe, police say

Kansas City police said a woman who went missing earlier this week has been found safe.

Kaitlyn Barnes, 35, went missing earlier this week after having been last seen in the midtown area of Kansas City. She is now found safe, said Sgt. Phil DiMartino, a spokesman with Kansas City Police Department, in an email.

Police said in a news release that Barnes’ family was concerned about her safety and well-being.
