As if anything could have kept Brittany Mahomes away from GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday.

Certainly not the freezing temperatures — and definitely not the fact that she just gave birth six days ago.

Fans were awestruck to see the co-owner of the KC Current soccer team on the sidelines before the playoff game against the Houston Texans. She and her husband, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, shared their routine pre-game kiss.

“How does Brittany Mahomes even FEEL ok to go to the game 6 days after giving birth,” tweeted one X user.

“I know they have more money than God and likely lots of help, but if I’m Brittany Mahomes, I’m saying I love ya, but I’ll be on the couch. She literally just gave birth 6 days ago,” wrote another fan.

“You can say whatever you want about Brittany Mahomes, but you cannot question her loyalty to Patrick. Brittany Mahomes on the sideline 6 days postpartum is so crazy,” tweeted another awestruck fan.

Mahomes gave birth to the couple’s third child, a daughter they named Golden Raye, on Sunday. Golden joined big sister Sterling Skye, 3, and brother Patrick “Bronze” Lavon III, 2, at home.

Thousands of Brittany and Patrick’s followers on social media sent a wave of well wishes. Kansas City’s Union Station lit up in golden lights to hail the baby’s arrival.

The couple announced last summer that another daughter was on the way.

Talk of Brittany’s due date ramped up when the Chiefs earned a bye week as the NFL playoffs began.

“I told my wife, my pregnant wife, I was going to get that No. 1 seed, so we can go have that baby,” Mahomes said in a Netflix interview. “So we got the No. 1 seed.”

After the baby’s birth was announced Monday, NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport tweeted on X: “Best use of a bye week.”

Goldie arrived on the weekend when NFL teams that didn’t get a bye in the postseason were playing.

And guess who was watching those games at the hospital.

“It was cool that football was on TV when I was in the hospital so I got to watch a little bit,” Patrick told reporters earlier this week. “Brittany was kind enough to let us watch football as she was getting ready to give birth to our second daughter.”
