Corrected Dec 19, 2024

In 2024, Taylor Swift flew in and out of the Show Me State many times. Her busy, concert-packed schedule included trips to Kansas City for seven Chiefs games, dinner with Travis Kelce and even a visit with young fans at Children’s Mercy Hospital.

This made Kansas City’s downtown airport the second most visited airport in 2024 by Taylor Swift’s private jet, according to an analysis of JetSpy data from aviation website Simple Flying.

Swift’s Dassault Falcon 7X clocked 98 flights throughout the year, according to Simple Flying’s report, published Dec. 3. The almost 225 flight hours burned over 80,000 gallons of jet fuel and produced 768 metric tons of carbon emissions. That’s about 55 times more carbon emissions than the average American.

Located just north of downtown, the Kansas City Wheeler Airport is primarily used by private and charter planes with 30 or fewer passengers. In December, the city council voted to change the name from Charles B. Wheeler Downtown Airport to Kansas City Downtown Airport — Wheeler Field.

Swift has come under scrutiny for the environmental impacts of her private jet use. Information about the plane’s whereabouts have been obscured — Swift’s lawyers sent a cease and desist to a user of X, formerly known as Twitter, who shared about her planes’ whereabouts.

Here are Taylor Swift’s jet’s three most visited airports for 2024:

  1. Nashville International Airport (BNA) in Nashville, Tennessee

  2. Kansas City Downtown Airport – Wheeler Field (MKC) in Kansas City, Missouri

  3. Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) in Burbank, California
